Description of Hunan carved tea:
Bringing together flowers and tea is an ancient Chinese tradition. A true work of art, a tea flower is composed of dried flower buds set within two hundred tea leaves. The whole thing is held together with a white silk or cotton thread.
How to prepare your tea flower properly:
In a clear teapot, rinse the flower with 85°C water. Let it steep for 3-4 minutes in 75°C water. Up to 6 infusions are possible with a 3-minute infusion time.
