How to use your tea knife?

A tea knife is an essential accessory for separating compressed tea leaves. This utensil allows you to separate the tea leaves without breaking them. Insert the thin blade of the tea knife into the edge of the cake and repeat this movement all the way around the cake. You will then feel clumps detach. When brewing tea, select only the leaves and leave the tea dust aside.

What is a teapet?

This little "tea animal" is a clay figurine that accompanies you while you prepare your tea and brings you luck. It is placed on the tea boat during the tea ceremony called Gong Fu Cha. The Tea Master must water his Teapet when rinsing his tea or warming the cups and teapot. There are a wide variety of Teapets (spitting toads, three-legged dragons, zodiac animals, the Pee-pee boy).

Some teapets tell you if the water is hot enough to make tea: the tea pet will squirt water out of a small hole when it's hot enough.
