Vietnamese tea, the revival of tea .

Today the 6th largest producer in the world, Vietnam has become a major player in the world of tea. The plantations are mainly located in the south, center and north of the country. But it is clearly in the north, very close to the plantations of Yunnan in China and Laos that tea culture is most deeply rooted, with wild, thousand-year-old tea plants and know-how often inherited from the Chinese. It is most often ethnic minorities who cultivate tea, notably the Hmong, the La Hu and the Mang who have perfectly mastered 100% manual picking . Some programs to expand tea cultivation have also emerged after the privatization of many abandoned plantations. Vietnam produces excellent jasmine teas , including our organic Lai Chau jasmine green tea .
