                  A must-see in the world of tea, the Darjeeling province, located in the far north of India, at the edge of the foothills of the Himalayas, produces one of the most sought-after teas in the world . Only 87 gardens can claim the name " Darjeeling Tea ", which severely limits its production, which cannot meet global demand. The success of this tea with its intoxicating floral and fruity flavors undoubtedly comes from the magic that operates between a rich and unique terroir, a harsh climate for the plant and the ancestral know-how of the planters. The four main harvests, which take place from March to November, produce teas with changing flavors. From the lightest, with very floral notes, harvested in spring, to the more woody with their more sustained notes of stewed fruit.

                  During a trip to Darjeeling in 2017, the founder of Maison un air de thé, Grégory Lehoux, planted tea bushes with several of his tea friends. We are proud of this vintage with its aromas of white flowers, orchard fruits, and a sweet hint of spice.
                  A delight with a long aftertaste.

                  How to prepare your Darjeeling tea correctly:

                  Dosage: 12g per liter or 3g for a 30cl cup

                  Water temperature: 95°C

                  Infusion time: 4-5 minutes

                  Recipe ideas: cook with tea !

                  Take part in a tasting workshop at the Bordeaux boutique!

                  We offer various tasting workshops to help you discover the world of tea or improve your knowledge.

                  For two hours, take part in a unique experience in a small group (maximum 6 people) that will reveal all the facets of tea from leaf to cup!

                  - Gourmets, let yourself be seduced by the game of pairings in our "Tea and Food workshops". The surprising marriage of original teas with traditional cheeses or great cocoa vintages , offers your taste buds an extraordinary experience with absolutely unique flavors.
