Thick and soft cookies
with matcha tea, white chocolate and cranberries
Today, we offer you a delicious recipe , real soft cookies that don't spread on the baking sheet! The trick is to freeze the shaped cookies before baking and bake them while still frozen. This way, they retain their thickness. These generous butter cookies combine successfully with the vegetal and umami notes of Matcha tea .
For 7 gourmet cookies
The ingredients to make gourmet cookies
- 120g of butter
- 150g of white sugar
- 1 egg
- 300g of wheat flour
- 20g of Matcha a taste of tea
- 1/2 sachet of baking powder
- 200g white chocolate (large squares)
- 70g of cranberries
Preparing the cookies
1- Mix the butter, sugar, egg, flour, previously sifted matcha tea, and yeast in a food processor. Remove the shortcrust pastry.
2- Add your white chocolate squares and your cranberries.
3- Make 7 balls of cookie dough and place them in the freezer overnight.
4- The next day, bake your cookies directly at 180°C for 15 minutes. Open the oven and flatten the cookies slightly. Bake for another 5 minutes.
5- Let the cookies cool (if you have the patience...) on a wire rack.
