New exhibition in Bordeaux:
Maison un air de thé celebrates Christmas with the poetry of artist Sara Diquelou!

What are the sources of inspiration for the artist Sara Diquelou?
Without hesitation: the city, but especially nature and travel! The Bordeaux-based artist loves connecting with nature through forest bathing or during her travels abroad. Having recently set off to explore Norway in November 2021, Sara surrounded herself with wide open spaces, soaked up majestic forests, and soaked up enchanting fjords to fuel her creativity.
In short, she lived the Scandinavian concept of "friluftsliv"! This idea appeared in the 19th century in a poem by Norwegian author Henrik Ibsen. He approaches nature as a tool to connect with oneself and to enlighten one's thoughts. In short, the key to personal growth.

The works of Sara Diquelou or the quest for refuge and comfort!
The famous Hitte or Norwegian cabins are places of refuge, far from the urban frenzy, where Norwegians like to recharge their batteries for a weekend. Add to this refuge, warm socks, a cozy blanket and a steaming cup of tea and you get the famous Danish Hygge or Norwegian Koselig ! In other words, the house un air de thé offers you a "cocooning" exhibition created by the talented Sara Diquelou!
Sara Diquelou "My illustrations revolve around a young lady with astonishing hair, a little "wild woman" that I integrate into landscapes inspired by my travels around the world. This poetic universe is above all narrative. Constantly confronting lived moments and imagination, sensuality and naivety, intimate urban scenes and wide open spaces, my drawings are a way of telling stories, mine, that of others, (yours?)
Exhibition from December 1 to 31, 2021 to see at the Maison un air de thé,
33 rue Buhan in Bordeaux
A preview evening will be organized on Thursday, December 9th from 6 p.m.
